I volunteer because I believe deeply in the Finger Lakes Land Trust’s conservation mission.
I combine my love of nature and my passion for photography by providing the FLLT with imagery.
I volunteer my time as a photographer and drone operator to showcase the beauty of the lands that the Land Trust protects.
I’ve been a member of the FLLT since 2001, but wanted to do more to help the organization’s mission.
I try to convey the beauty of the preserves and natural areas through my photos for others to see.
Protect the land and nature will do the rest.
I love that there are so many unique preserves to explore!
I love to provide opportunities for anyone to explore their natural environment more deeply.
I relish the opportunity to interact and build friendships with FLLT staff and other volunteers.
I feel passionate about sharing my knowledge about land snails with others.
I lead tree identification and appreciation walks at FLLT preserves.
I’ve been a volunteer and member since the Land Trust’s beginning in 1988.
I read to kids on the Story Walks at the nature preserves.
I enjoy working in the woods with good and knowledgeable people.
I feel passionately about the power of photography in conservation.
By donating my photos to FLLT, I’m part of the “big picture.”
I lead walks in the preserves to teach about our local plants.
I am a Land Steward for High Vista Nature Preserve on Skaneateles Lake.
I maintain 7.3 miles of trails, mow meadows, clear brush, and lead hikes.
I’ve been helping at the Biodiversity Preserve since moving here in 2000.
