The Land Trust has the opportunity to create a new conservation area on Owasco Lake. Over 1,100 feet of undeveloped, pristine shoreline will be protected with the purchase of 74 acres on the eastern shore. We are raising money to purchase the property, open it to the public, and steward the land forever. Please support the project.
The Land Trust accepted the donation of a conservation easement that will forever conserve over 60 scenic acres overlooking Skaneateles Lake’s eastern shore. The property is owned by Gil and Melinda Weatherly, and has been in Melinda’s family for three generations. Read the story.
‘Tis the season of giving… and conserving! You can do both when you send a gift membership to a friend or family member. Your donation goes to work conserving land and water — and you bring new people into the growing circle of conservationists. Send a gift membership.
New members, your gift will be 100% matched. Double your dollars! If you made a gift last year, every dollar that you give now in excess of your 2016 total will be matched. Make your gift.
