Description

Help is needed for a variety of tasks that include refreshing trail blazes, light trail work and cleanup, the removal of an old culvert, and construction of a small footbridge.

A work session will be held from 2:00-4:30 pm, followed by a social hour from 4:30-5:30 – light refreshments and snacks will be provided!  Please wear sturdy footwear, and clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.  We will provide tools and work gloves, but feel free to bring your own if you have a favorite pair.

Directions

We will meet in the main parking area. More preserve and info and a map can be found here.

From the South: The preserve is approximately 23 miles north of Ithaca; 2.6 miles north of County Rt. 138; and 2 miles north of the Thirsty Owl winery. The parking area on the right side of Rt. 89.
From the North: The preserve is approximately 15 miles south of Seneca Falls; ½ mile south of Swick Road; and 800 feet south of North Cayuga Lake Road. The parking area is on the left side of Rt. 89.
