Description

Join us for a walk led by experienced birder Mark Chao high above the eastern shore of Skaneateles Lake at this diverse hillside forest full of songbirds. Bring binoculars if you have them.  Beginning birders welcome!  Mark will lead a second birding trip staring at 9:30 AM at the Hinchcliff Family Preserve. See the full list of Spring Bird Quest events on Memorial Day weekend.

Directions

From Rt. 41 south of Skaneateles, turn onto Vincent Hill Road West, just north of the Cortland/Onondaga County line. After about 1/3 mile, the road bends to the southwest and there is a small parking area on the right-hand side.

Policies

Except in the case of extreme weather, walks go rain, sun or snow. Please check our Facebook page or this web page for updates.

Please refrain from bringing dogs as they may impede the observation of wildlife.
