DESCRIPTION
The Rochester Folk Art Guild is hosting a public Lecture on the Lawn series this summer to explore individual environmental responsibilities and what good environmental citizenship requires. A moderated discussion with Finger Lakes Land Trust Senior Field Representative Kris West and Canandaigua Lake Watershed Association incoming President Lynn Klotz will take place on Sunday, July 25 at 2 p.m. Topics will include threats to water quality, stewardship efforts, land preservation progress, and conservation easements. Wade Sarkis, past CLWA President and board member of both organizations, will be the moderator.
Lectures on the Lawn are weather-dependent. Wooden benches and folding chairs are provided; your favorite lawn chair is welcome. All lectures will last approximately one hour and will be followed by a short question and answer period.
