Steege Hill Nature Preserve—town of Big Flats
Join Hikyoga instructor Elizabeth to explore the Steege Hill Nature Preserve. The morning adventure opens up with yoga, followed by a hike while pausing to stop, drop, and yoga along the way, incorporating meditation and time to inhale the crisp forest air. This Hikyoga experience will give you the opportunity to connect with nature, enjoy a refreshing hike and take part in peaceful yoga flows. Just bring yourself (and maybe a friend!), wear comfortable shoes suitable for light hiking, appropriate clothing for movement, and a bottle of water. Please note there are no restrooms available at the preserve.
A portion of this class will be donated to the Finger Lakes Land Trust to save more land and water.
From route 17 in Big Flats, take exit 49. Turn south from the exit ramp and go to Olcott Rd. At T intersection, turn right on Rt. 64 (unmarked), and right again on Rt. 352. Turn left on So. Corning Rd., cross the river, and turn left on Steege Hill Rd. Go about 1 mile and pull into the parking lot on the left, just before the pipeline cut.
