Description

Join staff and volunteers on the first Friday of every month from May through November for FLLT nature preserve stewardship activities and socializing. If you are looking for a good reason to take off a half-day on a Friday, this is it! Work sessions will be held from 2:00-4:30 pm, followed by a social hour from 4:30-5:30. Tools, work gloves, light refreshments, and snacks will be provided.

Plymouth Woods contains a small meadow that is being invaded by non-native brush. Help is needed to remove the invasive brush and haul it away. We will also work on some general trail maintenance projects.

Directions

From Route 17 east of Elmira, take the Church St./Rt. 352 exit—Exit 56. Go through Elmira, and turn left on Rt. 225 (Hendy Creek Road). Go about 3 miles and turn right on Kneale Road. Go 0.4 miles to the preserve parking area, on your right.
