Grimes Glen County Park—village of Naples
No registration required.
Senior Field Representative Kris West will lead participants on a 0.9-mile out-and-back hike through Grimes Glen, a remarkable gorge protected by the Land Trust. Hikers will pass two stunning waterfalls along the trail which eventually leads to a rocky streambed. Kris will discuss the history of the preserve and the Land Trust’s role in acquiring it, as well as its flora and fauna. Be sure to wear shoes and clothing you don’t mind getting wet.
Grimes Glen is located at the end of Vine Street in the Village of Naples.
Except in the case of extreme weather, walks go rain or shine. Please check our Facebook page or this web page for updates. Please refrain from bringing dogs as they may impede the observation of wildlife.
