30 for 30: Anniversary Hike at Grimes Glen County Park

In celebration of its 30th anniversary, the Land Trust is hosting 10 hikes led by knowledgeable staff covering a total of 30 miles. Join us for one event, or attend all and hike 30 miles for 30 years! You can also complete the hike series on your own. DESCRIPTION

Senior Field Representative Kris West will lead participants on a 0.9-mile out-and-back hike through Grimes Glen, a remarkable gorge protected by the Land Trust. Hikers will pass two stunning waterfalls along the trail which eventually leads to a rocky streambed. Kris will discuss the history of the preserve and the Land Trust’s role in acquiring it, as well as its flora and fauna. Be sure to wear shoes and clothing you don’t mind getting wet.

Grimes Glen is located at the end of Vine Street in the Village of Naples.
