Thank You, Volunteers!

It’s the season of giving thanks, and the Land Trust has much to be grateful for. Our work would simply not be possible without the help of 200+ volunteers who gave their time and professional expertise, led trips, shared beautiful photographs, and stewarded over 21,000 acres this year!

So, THANK YOU! If you are an attorney, board member, committee member, photographer, naturalist, trip leader, or Trailblazer—we thank you for your dedication and commitment to the Land Trust.

This year, we:

  • held 16 volunteer work days, on 11 nature preserves with a total of 150 Trailblazers who contributed to a variety of trail building and maintenance activities;
  • hosted 17 free public hikes led by volunteer naturalists on our nature preserves as part of our Talks & Treks series;
  • received beautiful photographs of our conserved lands;
  • and completed over a dozen land protection projects with the help of our pro bono attorneys.

We couldn’t do it without you. Thank you to our volunteers and everyone who supports land conservation in the Finger Lakes!
