DESCRIPTION

Join local birder Mark Chao for a morning at the Sims-Jennings Preserve, which features a mosaic of habitats, including meadows, woodlands, and gorges. We will set out in search of migrant and breeding birds, and learn about their behavior and ecology. Bring binoculars if you have them!

DIRECTIONS

From Ithaca, take East Shore Drive for six miles to turn left on NY-34B N/Ridge Road (at the intersection at Rogue’s Harbor). After four miles, the preserve will be on the left.
