LOCATION

DESCRIPTION

Celebrate spring with a walk on the Phenology Trail led by Hannah George, FLLT Conservation Easement Steward and originator of the trail. Stay in tune with the subtle changes of plants during the growing season this year by learning how to contribute your observations of trees to a national database. In doing so, you’ll help document the local effects of climate change. All ages are welcome on this 1.5 mile walk over flat terrain.

DIRECTIONS

From Ithaca, take Rt. 13 North towards Dryden. Go approx. 12 miles and turn right on Irish Settlement Rd. Continue on Irish Settlement approx. 4 miles to find the NORTH parking area–where the boardwalk is–on the left (approx. 0.5 mile after Hammond Hill Rd). Continue approx one more mile down Irish Settlement Rd to find the SOUTH parking area just after Goodband Rd. If you get to Midline Rd, you’ve gone too far. Get more preserve information.

POLICIES

Except in the case of extreme weather, walks go rain, sun or snow. Please check our Facebook page or this web page for updates.

Please refrain from bringing dogs as they may impede the observation of wildlife.
