DESCRIPTION

Located on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake, the Bell Station property features wooded hillsides overlooking the lake, extensive fields, and several small streams with cascading waterfalls. The FLLT recently acquired the site for conservation, which will greatly enhance public access to the east side of Cayuga Lake, which is 90% privately owned.

Now is your opportunity to learn more about the site, its resources, and its future. Join us for a moderate hike to explore this spectacular property, then stay for some refreshments. Free and open to all!

DIRECTIONS

Park and meet at the end of Nut Ridge Road in Lansing.

From Ithaca, take Route 34/East Shore Drive approximately five miles to the intersection with Route 34B in Lansing. Turn left onto Route 34B/Ridge Road and after approximately 1.5 miles, turn left onto Myers Road. At the foot of the hill, make a right at the stop sign, cross Salmon Creek, and bear right on Myers Road, returning to Route 34B. Turn left on Route 34B and after approximately six miles, turn left onto Lake Ridge Road. After less than a mile, turn left on Nut Ridge Road.
