DESCRIPTION

This event is hosted by the Finger Lakes Museum. Join educator, horticultural therapist, herbalist, and certified forest therapy guide Deb Denome to “immerse in the medicine of the forest.” Deb will lead a Shinrin-Yoku Forest Immersion walk—a gentle, enjoyable, sensory experience of our natural world. You will be skillfully guided into a gentle, enjoyable, full sensory experience, taking in images, sounds, aromas, breath, touch, and wisdom of the forest.  The walk will conclude with a tea ceremony of wild forest plants.

Please note: This walk includes some inclines. Hiking poles or walking sticks may be desired.

A portion of proceeds from this event will be donated to the Finger Lakes Land Trust to save more land and water.
