DESCRIPTION
Join the Canandaigua Lake Watershed Association for a fun morning of SUP paddleboarding along the beautiful north shore of Canandaigua Lake! Attendees will be given the opportunity to participate in a paddleboard lesson onshore to learn the ropes, then will be given time to roam the waves at their own leisure to explore the beautiful waters of Canandaigua Lake on their own SUP.
Attendees will be provided with a paddleboard, paddle, a PFD (personal floatation device), and instruction from a guide from Canandaigua Sailboard. This event is best suited for kids ages 6 and up, but an onshore water quality activity will also be available for younger participants.
Sign up for one of the two lesson sessions offered – 9:00 am or 11:00 am. Attendees will gather on the west side of Kershaw Park near the kayak launch.
