Description

Home to towering hemlocks, Wesley Hill is the Land Trust’s westernmost preserve and one of its most spectacular! Join us to help install stone steps, stabilize a steep section of the red trail, and take in the magnificent vista above Briggs Gully. All tools and work gloves will be provided. We will eat lunch on the trail, so please pack accordingly. Refreshments will be provided, but bring extra water for yourself.

Directions

We will be meeting at the Wesley Road parking area, near the yellow trailhead. If you are from the Ithaca area, and are interested in carpooling, please contact Nature Preserve Manager Jason Gorman by emailing jasongorman@fllt.org or calling (607) 275-9487.

From Honeoye, take Rt. 20A east to East Lake Road. Follow East Lake Rd. south for a short distance and then turn left on County Rd. 33. Continue a short distance and turn right on Pinewood Hill Rd. Follow Pinewood Hill, then Gulick Road south toward Cumming Nature Center. After about 3.5miles, turn right onto Wesley Road. Parking is in a snowplow turnaround on the right.
