DESCRIPTION

Join Dr. Shannon Nix, fungal ecologist and mycology expert, at the Wesley Hill Nature Preserve for a guided walk to celebrate National Mushroom Month! We’ll seek out elusive fungi and discuss their diverse ecological roles and how they can help (or hinder) our conservation efforts. Wesley Hill is host to white pine, hemlock, and oak habitats that we’ll explore in search of fantastical fungi.
