2:00 – 5:30 PM

Wesley Hill Nature Preserve  – Wesley Road, town of Richmond

Please RSVP with Nature Preserve Manager Jason Gorman, by emailing or calling at 607-275-9487.  Please mention if you’d like to carpool from Ithaca.

Wesley Hill is the Land Trust’s westernmost nature preserve and one of its most spectacular!  This popular preserve features a nice mix of mature forest, open meadows, and scenic vistas.  Your help is needed  for a variety of tasks which may include invasive species management, trail stabilization, and stone step installation.  This preserve has two parking areas — we will be meeting at the parking area on Wesley Road at the yellow trailhead.

A work session will be held from 2:00-4:30 pm, followed by a social hour from 4:30-5:30 – light refreshments and snacks will be provided!  Please wear sturdy footwear, and clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.  We will provide tools and work gloves, but feel free to bring your own if you have a favorite pair.

From Honeoye, take Rt. 20A east to East Lake Road. Follow East Lake Rd. south for a short distance and then turn left on County Rd. 33. Continue a short distance and turn right on Pinewood Hill Rd. Follow Pinewood Hill, then Gulick Road south for approx. 2.5 miles. Turn right on Wesley Road and follow approx. 1 mile to the parking area on the left.
