Description

The Ontario County Agricultural Enhancement Board, the Ontario County Planning Department, the Finger Lakes Land Trust and the Genesee Land Trust are sponsoring a series of four workshops for agricultural landowners on conservation easements and the New York State Farmland Protection Implementation Grant program. The series will provide in-depth information for agricultural landowners interested in learning more about how land protection tools can complement business planning and conservation goals. There is no charge for the sessions.

At this workshop on December 9, FLLT Director of Conservation Max Heitner will provide an overview of agricultural conservation easements as a farmland protection option for landowners. See the full workshop series.
